Early voting kicks off in Ohio

Early Voting in Ohio kicked off  Tuesday, October 8, and runs through Sunday, November 3.You can vote early at your county Board of Election.

Get Ohio Voting Resources at VoteOhio.Gov OR find your county's early voting location HERE. Below are the early voting dates and hours throughout the state: 

  • October 8–11: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • October 14–18: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • October 21–25: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • SATURDAY October 26: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. SUNDAY October 27: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
  • MONDAY October 28: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • TUESDAY October 29: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • October 30–November 1: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • SATURDAY November 2: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • SUNDAY November 3: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m 

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, with polling places open from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. On that day, you can only vote at your designated polling location! Look up your registration, including polling location, HERE.

 More important voting dates and deadlines:

  • Request an absentee ballot: NOW THROUGH OCTOBER 29
  • Deadline to register to vote/update registration: OCTOBER 7
  • Early in-person voting begins: OCTOBER 8
  • Absentee voting by mail begins: OCTOBER 8 THROUGH NOVEMBER 4
  • Absentee post-marked deadline*: NOVEMBER 4
  • General election (at polling place only): NOVEMBER 5, 6:30 A.M.-7:30 P.M.

    * According to the Ohio Secretary-of-State, absentee ballots may be returned by mail or personally delivered to your county board of elections.
